Daliya khichdi Recipe

Ingredients

Daliya – 1 bowel

Carrot – 1 piece

Onion – 1 piece

Green chilli – 3 piece

Tomato – 2 piece

peas – 50 gram

Turmeric – 1/2 spoon

Coriander Powder – 1 spoon

Sabji masala – 1 spoon

Salt – As your taste

Coriander leafs – 1/2 cup

Process

  • Rinse daliya many times until water runs clear
  • Heat 2 spoon oil in pressure cooker on a low flame
  • Saute cumin until they begin to splutter
  • Add Onion, green chilli and saute them until slightly golden colour
  • Add Tomato, carrot and peas or you can add veggies saute for 5 minutes
  • Add 1/2 spoon Turmeric , 1 spoon Coriander powder, 1 spoon Sabji masala and Salt
  • After that add a washed daliya in a cooker and fry it about 5 minute
  • Pour water 1 glass and check the salt
  • Cover the pressure cooker on a medium to low flame for 2 Whistles
  • Off the Stove and leave it on the stove
  • When the pressure goes off then open the lid
  • Add Coriander leafs into daliya and stir
  • Your daliya khichdri is ready and serve it
